Busy Times
Good evening all!
Been a little while! I've been super busy between client work, my Birthday (I'm 38 now!) and looking after my Grandmother the last few weeks. Things are beginning to calm down now though and everything SHOULD be back to normal by mid-week!
I've admittedly not made a whole lot of progress on Alpha 7, the rare moments I have time to work on game stuff are mostly spent working on an application for funding off the Welsh government's "Creative Wales" program (and oh boy I'm no admin/business guy so this stuff is a nightmare for me!) leaving almost no time for actual game development.
That said there hasn't been zero progress!
Tadaaa! 45 Unique Shapes and counting! The goal is a minimum of 50 by the time the game hits 1.0 as that's a good feature for the store page "Over 50 Shapes!".
Keep in mind these are the 'basic' unlockable shapes too! I have plans for ones with unique abilities, a selection of 'locked' shapes which can't be rotated, and some other weird and wonderful shapes you'll get to unlock through playing TetRogue!
That wraps it up for today though, just wanted to show signs of life as I know a few weeks of silence is rarely a good sign for an indie game dev! Hopefully I'll have more updates for you soon!
