Update 1

Welcome Liminauts to the first update for this new project of mine!

Liminaut has been in development for about a week so far and already has come on leaps and bounds!

You can interact with things, travel to different spaces within the Dreamscape, pet cats, wakeup from the dream, there's a little wakeup animation, and so far there are 7 spaces in the Dreamscape to explore (with loads more on the way) as well as the Compound (the place you return too each time you wake up) which already has some changes in it which can appear based on how you've done with exploring the world!

Here are the spaces in the game so far;

The Dark Walk
A spooky VERY dark area where your torch can hardly luminate the path in front of you, be careful, there may be something in the shadows.

The Corridor
A long corridor where things don't quite seem right.

The View
A calm simple place where you can relax and just enjoy the view of the endless sky, there's also a little friend to keep you company here.

The Fall
A seemingly endless tower - you may have to step into the unknown to move forward...

The Rusted Maze
Can you find your way through this confusing space?

The Fertile Land
A surreal location even in the standards of the Dreamscape.

The Roaches Room
Dreams are weird huh? This Cockroach just keeps saying he has no Mana as he plays his games.

And there are so many more planned! :D

Liminaut is designed from the ground up to be quick to create. I want the game to be very "Stream of Consciousness", so if I think of something, I can quickly throw it in, and as a result I'm able to make a lot of content in a very short amount of time!

Obviously this will slow down on the second pass when I add in some more complex stuff, and even more so on the third pass when I add audio, but so far it feels super rewarding to work on!

If you wanna keep up with the day to day development of Liminaut I post constantly about it on my Threads! :D

Anyway, back to work for me!
