Bubble Frog 2
NOTE: WEB VERSION IS SLOW TO LOAD! IT DOES WORK THOUGH! (at least on my computer >_>)
PROTOTYPE 1.5 RELEASED!
Bubble Frog 2 Prototype 1.5 is now LIVE! You can check it out for FREE on Windows, Linux, and even Mac! It only has the first 10 levels and an early versions of stuff like Hub Town. This is a build for public testing, to see what people think of it so feel free to give good and bad feedback as it'll help inform the development on Prototype 2!

BUBBLE FROG IS BACK BABY!
Having finished his grand adventure in Bubble Frog DX our hero has returned to Hub Town to get some much needed rest! I'm sure OniGary won't lose his Onigiri AGAIN! I'm sure the Onigiri God won't be angered by this and demand Bubble Frog go on a quest to collect artifacts from all over the world to apese his wraph!

Join John Bubble Frog on his second adventure, this time breaking free of the Game Boy Color restrictions and embracing Godot for a silly, challenging, and wholesome adventure across more zones that you can shake a stick at!
Work is underway on the Prototype but what can you expect in the full game? How about a super sexy features list where I pull ideas out of my butt to make the game sound awesome?!

You already know my opinion. More Bubble Frog is always good Bubble Frog! Looking AMAZING so far! V is making some FIRE music for it and the game is really coming along.
Controls are feeling slick and overall I'm loving the direction of the sequel. The soundtrack and sound design are helping out and did I catch that the levels are moving to the music as well? Or does it just seem like it? Either way, it's effective.
Also loving that the characters are shining in this one and your art style is getting a ton of breathing room. I think that's awesome.
Congrats on pushing forward! Keep it up!
Loved it! Everything is fresh, and the animations outside of the worlds are a great touch. The hub world is great! I know many might be upset it's not a Game Boy game anymore, but maybe you can have an arcade machine where it plays a couple levels of the original game, haha
I am hungry for more! <3 The soundtracks are also a vibe. Also, if you need any voice-over, just let me know. I can do a bunch of voices, Timbo. :)
Nice game! It's pretty fun to play. I suggest to add exclamation mark on top of oniGary because I moved 3 times around first level to figure out where to go :D

Yeah that's a good point! In Prototype 2 there'll actually be an intro which shows the player they need to go talk to OniGary to make things more clear :D

Not for this one as I found trying to make a follow up in GB Studio only felt like more of the same which felt wrong for a sequel. That said I plan to make more Gameboy Bubble Frog in the future and release it as free updates to Bubble Frog DX (there's currently a room in the 3D gallery blocked off with an 'under construction' sign which will be turned into the room where you can access more Bubble Frog goodness in the future) :D plus every now and then I get the itch to go back to GB Studio so expect more GB Games from me in the future <3
