Saw this recommended on Reddit a few times.

What a pleasant gaming experience for the price. This is convincing me even harder that Gameboy as a platform is very much alive. I don't think I can do the hard modes right now, I died a *healthy* amount.

I'd love to see a Bubble Frog 2 for more levels/adventure.

Oh wow I didn't know it was getting any kind of mention outside of my own social media self promotion posts haha glad to see others are recommending it! :D

The Gameboy indie scene is huge these days thanks to software like GB Studio, there are loads of amazing Gameboy games on itch, I'd recommend having a look around :D

I don't know if/when I'll do a Bubble Frog 2 BUT I am planning a re-work of Bubble Frog DX to improve the gallery, the front end, and I'm HOPING to add some more content to the game but can't promise anything till I get into it and see how inspired I am as I wouldn't wanna cobble together some inferior levels just for the sake of saying 'look, more content!' but hopefully you'll enjoy the update when it comes out! :)

Thanks for the kind words, it really means a lot! Good luck with Ink Zone ;) That thing even kicks my butt! Haha

So glad you enjoyed it! I do plan to make a second Bubble Frog game one day! :D

재밌게 봐주셔서 정말 기뻐요! 언젠가 두 번째 버블 프로그 게임도 만들어 볼 생각이에요! :D

This is an amazing game. I’ve been playing it nonstop without noticing the time pass. Would it be possible for me to get your permission to translate it into Korean someday?

By all means go for it! :D That sounds awesome!

Thank you! I hope this amazing game becomes widely known in Korea as well :)

Stumbled across this when I came across your Bubble Wrapper. Just bought it and beat it for the first time today. Very fun little game!

Aww so glad you enjoyed it! :D and Merry Christmas! ^_^

I took the game from you just before the discount, but I'm glad I gave you a few extra cents for a game of this quality! I do twitch lives in French on homebrew GB, your game will be part of those of 2025, if you have anecdotes or memorable things about its creation, don't hesitate to send them to me so I can talk about them during the live!
Thanks to you, and what could be more normal for a Frenchman to do a live on a game with a frog ^^.

I backed your project on Kickstarter and received the Steam Key but where to find the .gbc rom file? 🤔

(I only own a Steamdeck and no Windows PC and therefore have no way to extract the bundled rom from the Steam version.)

Hey Marco, thanks for backing.
Ah, drop me an e-mail timbo.jay87@gmail.com and I'll send you the ROM :)

thanks! 🙏

The frog is cute.

Awesome little game! Is there any chance that the zone select from the first Bubble Frog could be added to this version? Perhaps after completing the game?

Also, it seems a player is able to continue a game on Hard mode which allows for their total lives to go negative.

That's something I'm hoping to add in the future :D hopefully in version 1.2 but not sure when that'll be :)

Also glad you like the game! <3

i played the og but this might be better

There's a bunch of bug fixes, 10 new levels, animation added to the NPCs, a new Hard More (20 lives to beat the whole game), pressing select shows your lives/deaths and onigiri count, and pressing start lets you exit back to the menu now :D Also there's a whole 3D gallery you can explore before launching the game now! ^_^

Hey :) Thanks for the heads up. Yeah the game goes live tomorrow, I just wanted to push the store page out a day early because I've been linking to the Steam Page in promotions and didn't wanna leave the itch page out :)

Hi Sarah :) The purchase button should now show up!
